Intent doesn't get things done, doing gets things done; whether it's lack of time, interest, or something else, a lot of people don't do a lot of things they say they will do or want to do. Waiting for people to do things they intend, when they are themselves unreasonable about their relative desires and ability to follow through, is pointless.

Don't needlessly harm someone else's day.
