SCENE: After final credits. SETTING: We return to the two people having dinner at the nice restaurant. ACTION: The vomit reverses back into his mouth. (Switch camera angle to close-up of woman to add emphasis on terror and to allow smooth cut from reversed vommit to final scene.) (Return camera angle to two shot) Waiter: (He rushes in from the side) Are you okay sir? Sir : Just fine. Madam : Maybe we should go? Sir : No I'm fine, really. Waiter: As you wish. (He puts down a plate of orderves and leaves) Sir : Oh no.....(He starts to shift again in pain) Madam : What's happening (The usual terrified female voice/scream) Sir : Not again....(He reaches for his stomach, which is bulging in and out. (Close-up on man's pain stricken face to allow special effect move) (Camera returns to two shot) Sir : (He has a sizeable bloodstain on his stomach, the shirt is moving around as if something is trying to get out.) Noooo.....(He gasps as a large hand pops out of stomach, spurting blood all over. The woman feints as the hand flips her off and begins to stuff the food on the orderve tray directly into the stomach....) Special Effect: Using the camera switch will help to make the effect look better. We can set up the seen by placing somebody underneath the dinner table with their hand up the man's shirt, now, now no funny stuff. This is for film... If we initiate a blood stain, a small one, then use a plastic bag or and old carpet to serve as the stomach, the person underneath the table can shove the hand out squeezing a red balloon full of blood mix simultaneously. The red balloon will look like guts and the hand can discard it and begin shoving the food on the table into the stomach ( the plastic bag or carpet). The shirt itself should be white and one that can be thrown away. This could be difficult if the setting remains as an expensive restaurant. Filling the plastic bag with goup for guts and placing it underneath the shirt should work. The open end of the plastic bag will wrap around the persons hand and be taped off to prevent leakage. However, taping the bag will also prevent flexiability for the hand to move around freely. Perhaps a rubber band would serve better. The plastic bag for the stomach should be painted, on both sides, a darker peach color to look like skin. This will keep it from showing through the shirt and seeing out the back when the bag opens. We may have to pump air, via tire air pump, into the bag so a nice spurt will result. The hand may also need a pin, or something else to easily tear the bag open since tearing wet plastic isn't as easy as it seems. Well, whdya think??? p.s. I'll try to get the barf-o-matic setup this weekend. I might have to go out and buy some tubing....We'll see. Brock.
