101 things to do with a busted RMO3 - show 1 (Bricks) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MC: hello, I'm Michelle Daemon. Welcome to 101 things to do with a busted RMO3. This week we have a very basic use for an RMO3. However, it took our RMO3 conversion team of programmers, analysts, and data entry people many weeks. (Intermingle shots of RMO3 with a people looking at it, pointing, etc. Move RMO3 on side, move sides arount, etc.) Eventually we came up with the answer - how to convert an RMO3 to the table. Here's Roger from our conversion team to tell us how it's done. roger: With the RMO3 upright, Remove one side of the rmo3, and place it aside. Remove the second side of the RMO3, and place it on the top of the frame. The first side can then be stored for future usage, or brought to a local scrap metal dealer where it can be sold. The money should cover the cost of donuts and coffee at a local coffee shop. MC: Thank you roger. Good to have you with us. roger: a pleasure to be here mc: And now it's time for our viewer mail. This weeks letter is from Joe Wolfston. Joe has found that the RMO3 frame is perfect for rack mounting stereo equipment. And best of all, when you need to move the stereo after mounting it in the RMO3 frame, it can be easily wheeled to a new location. (insert pictures of melissa in front of RMO3) If you've got a usage for an RMO3, why not send it to us? If we use it on the air, we might mention your name on the television. So send your uses for an RMO3 to internet pmb1566@ultb.isc.rit.edu, bitnet PMB1566@RITVAX, or snail-mail to Peter Barella, 100 Winchester Road, New Hartford, CT 06057-2921. It is a pleasure to have with us this evening, a man who has recovered numerous RMO3s, as well as other digital computer equipment, and created a business out of this junk. Bob Stanley, welcome to the show. Bob: Thanks for having me. mc: What sort of business have you set up? bob: I've set up a trailer rental service. Customers can come to me, and rent an RMO3 to haul things. mc: what gave you the idea? bob: Well, I noticed the wheels on the RMO3 made it great for moving things around the house. At the time I had a small car, and it was always uncomfortable to go places - there just wasn't enough room. I had a spare RMO3, so I built a hitch for it and put it on the back of the family car - it worked great. Every since I've been collecting RMO3's, setting them up with the hitches and then renting - and selling, bust mostly renting - the RMO3s to people. mc: How much do you make doing this? bob: Well, that's difficult to put an exact figure on - I'm collecting more RMO3s all the time, so my income is always increasing. I would say at this point I'm makeing $27 grand a year. mc: Great. Well, it was great to have you on the show. Thanks for coming. bob: Your welcome.k mc: Well, that's the show for this week. This is Michelle daemon saying thanks for joining us, and remember: Anything that happens enough times to irritate you will happen once more. Good night.
